Our methodology, based on the experience we have acquired in managing countless
translation projects over the years, is based around the following framework:
-
Analysis of the original documentation
and drawing up of an estimated budget.
-
Examination of existing client documentation
and resources to ensure the terminological consistency of the translation
(e.g. translation memories produced from previous assignments) and
subsequent assignment of the text to the most appropriate translator
or group of translators. Usually, translation of all of a client’s
documentation is assigned to the same translator or group of translators,
thereby allowing us to guarantee its consistency.
-
Unification of terminological and stylistic
criteria for multilingual projects.
-
Final review of translation (both
technical and stylistic) by the centre’s correction service,
to ensure its quality.
-
Adding of new translation memories
and databases produced to client’s file.
